Alexandra Rossi

Alexandra (RYT500/ERYT200-certified with the Yoga Alliance) is a French native who discovered yoga in 1998 while living in Florida. She has studied extensively in the Hatha and Anusara traditions, and has a rich, eclectic, and constantly evolving teaching practice that also incorporates elements of Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and Prenatal Yoga. Her relationship to yoga was deepened when she discovered mindfulness, and she attends yearly retreats with mindfulness teacher Thich Nhath Hanh in the South of France.

Alexandra’s teaching style is warm and compassionate, and she encourages her students to tap into their body’s authentic grace. She works with women at a variety of life stages, from the teenage years through pregnancy and menopause, and she also teaches yoga and mindfulness to schoolchildren from prekindergarten on. Beginners and advanced yogis alike will benefit from Alexandra’s focus on tuning in, letting go, and relaxing into the present moment.
