“I am certified by the Nosara Yoga Institute, and offer classes in the Hatha and Vinyasa Flow style for all levels and ages. In my classes, I aspire to awaken and connect to a deeper awareness of the Divine within, and an enhanced ability to create alignment in our own bodies and the world around us. I aim to inspire mindfulness through focus on the breath, deeper connection to joyfulness through kirtan, finding one’s natural flow and strength while moving through a vigorous asana practice, and cultivating compassion as we discover and release into our edges.

I discovered yoga in 2001 as a practice that gave me physical strength and flexibility to complement an active lifestyle, as well as mental clarity and emotional release. Going to yoga class quickly became a deeply personal experience that I could share with my friends as it helped us to transition through major life changes. After leaving my desk job in environmental conservation in early 2009, I spent the rest of the year traveling the world and deepening my yoga practice with yoga masters and spiritual guides from the jungles and beaches of Costa Rica to the Himalayas of India.”
