Bernal Yoga is centrally located in the heart of Bernal Heights in San Francisco, California. In May of 2012, after being open for 10 years, Bernal Yoga moved to 908 Cortland Ave. (cross street at Folsom), five blocks from the original location at 461 Cortland Ave. The studio is on the “definitive short list of must-visit spots”-take a look!
The new location is in a brand new building, with efficient heating/cooling systems, along with 2 large bathrooms/changing rooms. The new studio space is big, clean, modern, warm, and full of natural light.
Current students remark continually about how the studio is a nurturing environment that not only welcomes the first time student but offers a variety of classes and instructors for the more experienced practitioner. Bernal Yoga is a studio for all ages and abilities.
Bernal Yoga’s instructors offer not only their teaching and practice experience but also their passion for Yoga, Pilates and mindfulness based practices. The studio continues to host the quarterly “Bernal Yoga Literary Series”.
Bernal Yoga’s managing director, Shelley Eades, and assistant studio manager, Emily Saltzman, are an integral part in what makes Bernal Yoga stand out as both a welcoming, highly-regarded, and fun place to practice as well as to work and teach.

Founded in 2002, by Savonn Wyland (savonn.com), Bernal Yoga is the flagship studio of Align Integrative Wellness, LLC. Savonn’s brother, Bill Wyland, joined the family owned and operated business a couple of years after Bernal Yoga opened. Now based in Portland, Oregon, Align Integrative Wellness, LLC is still owned by the sister/brother duo and has grown into a business specializing in community based yoga and wellness studios.
Align Integrative Wellness, LLC studios are located at Sellwood Yoga in Portland, OR and Bernal Yoga in San Francisco, CA. Sister and brother, Savonn and Bill Wyland currently co-own and oversee the growth, vision and direction of Align Integrative Wellness, LLC studios.
