Join us for a refreshing afternoon retreat, with mindfulness and connection to breath and body, in awareness. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced meditation practitioner, the retreat offers breathing room for you. Feel a grounded and inspired sense of presence, ease and well-being.

The Afternoon of Mindfulness retreat welcomes everyone interested in learning and practicing the basics of mindfulness meditation:
· Breath awareness
· Sitting meditation
· Walking meditation
· Mindful movement
· Body awareness meditation

Dress in comfortable clothes, and bring weather-appropriate outerwear for walking outside (if the forecast is clear, we may be outside for part of the afternoon).

About Mindfulness Meditation: Mindfulness is an intentional, non-judgmental approach to paying attention to all that life offers. Workshop activities include formal and informal practices drawn from Vipassana (insight) meditation and from Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
